No more marketing calls – Do not call Registry

22 December 2007 No Comment

If you are fed up like me taking more marketing / promotional calls on your mobile or landlines than actual calls then look out for the Do not call registry also know as Do not disturb registry and register your telephone numbers and hopefully after 45 days the number of marketing calls should be reduced, the only issue is that, If you have multiple numbers from multiple providers then you would have to register each of them with your provider.

I have already registered my phone numbers coz the marketing call problem had got so bad with me that I was getting around 6-7 unwanted calls per day and due to that I had almost stopped using my mobile, I say the registry works 90% of the times, In my case the call frequency has been reduced to 4-5 calls per week, I guess to stop all unwanted call they should start something like Do not call ever legislation!

The official site for National Do not call registry, if even after registering you number some marketing company is pestering you it has all the details on how to take appropriate action.

I am also listing below the do not call links from the popular providers where you can register you numbers directly.

Subscribers with other operators can call up there Customer support and ask for registration into Do not disturb or the Do not call Registry.
