Bad time to buy a high end Smartphone

If you are planning to buy a high end smartphone this September / early Oct 2011 i.e the iphone4 or a high end Android phone I feel it’s not a good idea and it’s best to wait a while and I explain you why in the video listed below.

    To Ranjit: Thanks again for another wonderful video. I was so desperate to buy a high end smartphone. But ended up going with a basic phone (Sony Ericsson Cedar), even before watching this video. But, after watching this video, I know I made the correct decision. :)

    @Vivek: I did not test the Galaxy W but the Galaxy R is just like S2 its just that it has a SLCD screen and 5 MP camera instead of the SAMOLED plus screen and 8 MP found on the S2.

Which was a considerable jump in performance. Now I look at the field of smart phones, and if I were to buy one now it’d be too similar to my current phone. Dual core or not, I need a real sense of upgrading. So unless some new OS version comes out, I think I’m sticking with my EVO for now.

    You rarely know a company will come out with something new in a few weeks for sure though. You just have to go off of rumors. Companies don’t announce new products until a week before they go on sale because they don’t want to ruin the sales of the products that are out yet.
