We all know SSD are faster than our traditional Hard-disk and I wanted to try out how fast can we boot up the Dev preview of Windows 8 with a SSD as Windows 8 is optimized for SSD.
For this test I used the Kingston HyperX SSD and clean installed Windows 8 developer preview on the same and you can see the results of the same in the video listed below.

my HDD takes only about 8 sec to load the windows 8 some time 6 sec. I think you are running with dual boot configuration . try to install only winodws 8 in the ssd and no other os. before you measure the boot time do not restart pc then starting the stop watch while booting windows 8 instead of that completely shutdown your pc then start your pc by pressing physical power button .
@extremedanush: Wow looks like you got an amazing HDD, I did install it clean on the SSD formatted it and installed it no other OS in on the SSD…….. I did time it after a complete restart I just cut of the BIOS screens in the video……… will again test it from a cold boot and update if I find any improvements.

Just Google “windows 8 developer preview download” or something like that and you should find it. I don’t think it’s even beta yet though, just a developer preview so don’t expect too much yet.
Thanks for the video Ranjit, interesting as always

Mine boots in 8 seconds, and I have a old SATA 1 HDD :/ I don’t get how that’s possible.
(I have a Kingston HyperX SSD, but I had to RMA it due to slow write speeds, therefore I’m stuck with my old HDD for some weeks)
