Personally I have been using the iPhone for the last couple of months and I can say it’s a revolutionary device probably one of the best gadget that I have used in the recent times, and makes my older Smartphone’s look as they were from the last decade.
A very interesting and an Inspiring story on wired regarding the iPhone which has shaken up the entire mobile industry, the inside story regarding the iPhone and the challenges faced by Apple which had started work on the same four years ago.

Well to be frank I was not highly impressed by what Bill Gates presented in CES 2008, nothing new that we haven’t seen before or very exciting was announced, and BTW this was Bill Gates last keynotes at his CES as he is retiring in July 2008.
What was aired in the middle was this funny spoof “Bill Gates last day at Microsoft”

Just last week I heard news that TRAI was going to bump the minimum speed for broadband from 256kpbs to 2Mbps, I was overjoyed but I don’t think so it’s going to happen, TRAI is now justifying that 256kpbs is an acceptable speed to define broadband in India.
According to TRAI even in US the FFC defines speeds in excess of 200kbps as broadband.
In 2008 Look forward to get broadband via new mediums like DTH, 3G, Wifi and WiMAX. Currently most of the broadband connections in India are via DSL then …

Well it seems the censorship board of India and the I&B ministry is planning to add it’s clutches to the Video Gaming Industry…… Well this so called gaming industry is already in an nascent stage in India, we already don’t get many game titles in India because many popular publishers just don’t want to come to India coz they say we don’t have numbers. 8Mbps is the fastest consumer internet connection in India, during this weekend Airtel broadband guys have gone nuts (must be doing some testing) but for the past 2 days I am on 8Mbps connection instead of my regular 2 Mbps plan, so I took this opportunity to test the 8Mbps connection and my reactions are mixed, its fast as promised and if the server supports I was able to reach about 7Mbps (about 850 kb/sec) of speeds which is cool, but the sad part is only a handful of servers …

If you are using windows XP here is a simple guide to keep your computer secure, its a simple guide and the first 5 steps are very easy to follow, apart from the steps in the guide I would also recommend that you start using Firefox as your primary browser you can also download windows defender a anti-sypware tool from Microsoft.
