Hi.. After a 30 minutes of inactivity reliance broadband automatically disconnect you from the internet, even if you where downloading. Inactivity means page loads. This is a headache when we are not in front of the system and we are downloading anything that dosent support resuming. To avoid this you have to load websites in browser frequently. Opera have an option called "Reload Every" Just open google.com in opera and select Reload every 5 mins. Firefox users need to install an add-on "ReloadEvery". Oh this trick isnt goint to keep you online for lifetime. Reliance disconnects after 24 hrs from login. :P

Reliance has the worst customer service possible. The WiMax connection needs a lot of time to assign an IP and can be problem if you reside in a crowded area or if your building is not very tall.

The thing will reliance broadnet is that when it works (about 95% of the time) no other connection can match the speeds its really fast but again it goes down due to authentication problems etc for about 20-30 mins per day if you can live with that its a great connection.

Again the support is like BSNL you will get canned replies or they will just change your password.

Even i am an subscriber of Reliance Broadband in Bangalore the processing is really fast within 4 days i got my net connection but the next day itself i faced problems like unable to log on when i complained to the customer care i got a response that their mechanic will visit contact me within 72 hrs(just see the time taken for a big company) the problem was rectified but gain i was facing the problems for over two months i lost the track of complaint numbers. But as of now i have no issues with it it is working awesome.
