You do not need to use your antenna port with your LED TV your TV does not need to scan for channels like traditional cable TV with tatasky you would need to use the AV port / Component or the HDMI cable with your tatasky to connect to your LED TV.

Do not confuse traditional cable tv with tatasky with tatasky you get the digicomp box and you change the channels using the remote provided via that, channels are automatically added to the tatasky box you do not need to scan the same from your TV.

I would say have a look at these page where I reviewed the Tatasky HD http://www.tech2buzz.com/hardware/tata-sky-hd-review

Cheers,

Hi There,

Excellent information about TATA SKY HD.
I have a question if you can help me out please. I have LED TV which needs a antenna connection in order to scan radio frequency. Can you tell me if its possible to use one of the ports on the TATA SKy HD + as an antenna wire and connect to my TV, so this will save me to install a separate antenna for my TV.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks,
Utkarsh

I had purchased a tata sky + for Rs. 5999/- online through their website on 21st July. I recieved the courier on 28th July. Now I am not being able to get it installed by their "engineers" as they are very busy with their other "assignments". They have been giving me time, i had to cancel all my assignments for the installation now at least three times as their "engineers' don't have time. The thing that irks me is that they won't even bother calling that they wouldn't be able to come on the given time. Their way of talking is like they are doing me a favour by installing tata sky, which i am very sorry i have already paid for. While calling their offices here in Shimla, they would pick and disconnect the calls.
I am very unhappy with this kind of behaviour from the tata sky people. The installation is not done till now i.e. 3rd Aug evening, while their " engineer" had given me time first 6:00 pm, then 7:00 pm, now he is not picking the phone.
This is the first impression, i doubt what would be the standard of their services in future.
