I dont agree.. socom looks great… until you start playing.. the guys moves all stiff and you can barely shoot anyone. reminds me of the mortall kombat type characters… all stiff and hard to move. cod4 blows this game away the graphics, the levels, the detail.. socom is off.

The only ppl who like this game are ppl that are addicted to the socom series. ANYBODY that has played other shooter game will agree with me that this game is garbage.

It is a ONLINE ONLY game, well… you think they’d be able to perfect the online play. There is no party setup to join with your friends, and by the time your friends get to a game with you is already full. Ranked games are no respawn, you spend more time watching than playing. The graphics are equivalent to nintendo64, and the ranking system allows nothing to you. It simply is a huge disspointment.

gr8 review , i tried it too , socom has its own amount of network problems that stops it from being such an amazing game . the previous iterations of socom on ps2 were gr8 , this is a rushed product in my opinion , sony should ve not released an incomplete product , even after patching it thrice , things dont work well for socom confrontation .

lets hope that sony fix these issues asap & deliver a smooth online experience & if this current state of psn problems currently with games like warhawk ,lbp & socom confrontation doesnt gets fixed in time , sony could face a real hard time when R2 is unleashed . sony better fix thier online service
