Snippets from Bill Gates CES 2008 keynote

Well to be frank I was not highly impressed by what Bill Gates presented in CES 2008, nothing new that we haven’t seen before or very exciting was announced, and BTW this was Bill Gates last keynotes at his CES as he is retiring in July 2008.

What was aired in the middle was this funny spoof “Bill Gates last day at Microsoft

It was also announced that over 100 Million users are using Vista, and over 17.7 Xbox 360 have been shipped till date and there are over 10 Million Xbox Live subscriptions also expect to see expanded xbox live video and movies content as they have tied up with a bunch of Networks. You would also see extenders for Media Center PC’s from HP and Samsung apart from that Microsoft is trying to getting serious in Social networking with Windows Live and Zune and will also try to be aggressive in the online advertising market……. hint Google, I just don’t know why are they trying to compete with Google.

You can watch the entire keynote via this link (windows Media Player required and its 1hr 6mins long)
