I have been playing with the RC (Release Candidate) copy of Windows 7 for the last couple of weeks, the latest Operating System from Microsoft and the successor to Vista, which is going to start shipping from 22nd October 2009. I have even replaced it on my older Mileap Netbook / UMPC which was running Vista Home premium and Windows 7 seems to have given it a new life, I can say that Windows 7 is the best Operating System that Microsoft has released yet.

Microsoft had released the much waited Service Pack for Vista SP1 after months of waiting and interim release candidate for public download, you can also expect retail copies of vista with SP1 in stores in a couple of weeks.

Don&#8217;t just kill me for saying this but but I seriously don&#8217;t hate Vista and I have been using Vista for quite some time from the beta RC builds to the current Home Premium version which is on my primary computer, I also have patched Vista with SP1 RC that was released last week and it did seems to iron out a few bugs it had earlier, so I would recommend you wait for SP1 to  release officially if you are planning to upgrade to Vista.
