If you have been using a laptop for a couple of years, you might have noticed that your battery is not giving you the performance that it used to give and that generally happens after 1- 2 years of usage, but you can easily purchase and replace the battery, but there is a new trend in the latest notebooks / netbooks manufactures have started using non-removable sealed batteries which are non-user replaceable,  is it for good or bad find out.

Airtel broadband has recently introduce and un-advertised offer of providing 2 Mbps Unlimited broadband connection @ Rs 2,999 / month, its not truly un-limited package as it has the FUP clause, but again this offer is not open to everyone.

I have a reliance landline as it was provided with the broadband connection and it had a dedicated button to reach reliance customer care which is a great coz with just a touch of a button you can reach customer service.
Recently my reliance telephone landline went dead though the internet was working fine, the problem was that how do I contact reliance customer care now, the toll free number 1800-3000-7777 was always giving me a busy tone, well I did find out that there are a couple of other ways …

I purchased a new netbook called the Samsung N120 during the first week of June for Rs 25,000 (INR) incl of all taxes, which is a bit on the expensive side for a netbook but this netbook deserves it as it is a feature rich netbook, the best part about this netbook is that it has almost a full sized keyboard making typing on the same a pleasure, the trackpad is also of a decent size compared to netbooks standard and it has an awesome battery life and still you …

I have been playing with the RC (Release Candidate) copy of Windows 7 for the last couple of weeks, the latest Operating System from Microsoft and the successor to Vista, which is going to start shipping from 22nd October 2009. I have even replaced it on my older Mileap Netbook / UMPC which was running Vista Home premium and Windows 7 seems to have given it a new life, I can say that Windows 7 is the best Operating System that Microsoft has released yet.

You must have noticed my earlier review of Netconnect broadband plus and the fantastic speeds that we were getting, over 2 Mbps on an average but during the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the speeds have dropped quite significantly and I am getting speeds that are well below half Mbps around (300 – 500 kbps) .
